On Sunday morning NFL legend Randy Moss took to social media with a message for his fans.
He admitted that he’s battling an “internal” health issue after he received messages from fans who thought his eyes looked yellow during last week’s show. The Hall of Fame wide receiver asked for prayers from those willing to give them as he announced he’s battling the health issue.
While he didn’t say what exactly he’s dealing with, he asked fans to keep both he and his family in their thoughts.

“Throughout the week of the holidays, your boy has been battling something internally. I just ask for all the prayer warriors to put their blessed hands on me and my family through these hard times,” he said in a message on Instagram.
“You know people were talking about my eyes last week and you know I’m here so if you see these [sunglasses] on ‘Sunday NFL Countdown’ Adam Schefter calls them the Michigan turnover glasses that they sent from Ohio last night so I just let it go with these…like I said I’m battling something man and it’s something internal. Your boy going to get through it. I’ve got a great team of doctors and a great family around me. All you men get your check-ups and get your blood work done.”
With ultimate respect to Jerry Rice, Moss is arguably the most talented wide receiver to ever step foot on the field. He ended his NFL career with 15,292 yards and 156 touchdowns – and still holds the record for most touchdown in a season, 23, which he hauled in during a career resurgence in New England.
